DLR Wissenswelt® Leichtbau

The DLR Wissenswelt® Leichtbau is a meeting platform. Here we welcome you, potential co-operation partners, to address your questions and lightweight construction challenges in a creative workshop setting. The Wissenswelt is located in the Lilienthalhaus at Braunschweig Airport. There is plenty of space for agile creative methods in a pleasant atmosphere. Various exchange formats are available for meetings with up to 40 people in the DLR Wissenswelt® Leichtbau.

These competences of our institute are illustrated in a selection of demonstrators in the DLR Wissenswelt® Leichtbau from different areas of multifunctional materials, structural mechanics, functional lightweight construction, fibre composite technology, adaptronics and composite process technology. Gain an insight into lightweight construction with our experts and benefit from the expertise and range of different research areas and extreme fields of application.

Lilienthalhaus
Just outside the gates of the German Aerospace Centre in Braunschweig, the DLR Wissenswelt Leichtbau® is located in the newly built Lilienthalhaus, a visitor and service centre for aerospace and mobility.
