Central Services Department
The Central Services Department is responsible for the administrative and organizational work of the Institute. By bundling these tasks, the scientists in the six specialist departments can concentrate better on their research work. Institute goals can thus be pursued more stringently.
In particular, the department deals with the Institute's internal tasks of personnel, contract and IT management - in this context, it also supports the associated controlling tasks. It is also responsible for the strategic controlling of the institute as well as internal and external public relations with all facets of marketing and communication. In addition, the staff of the Central Services department are responsible for the Institute's equipment management/inventory and construction coordination.
