Digitalisation refers to the increasing use of networked, digital technologies in our society. In lightweight system construction, digitalisation is the decisive core element in the holistic linking of development, production, operation and utilisation.
Our institute has therefore set up a strategy field that develops methods for the intelligent and statistical evaluation of simulation and measurement data from production and test laboratories. New correlations are thus identified and potential for increasing efficiency is revealed. As a result, the knowledge database at our institute continues to grow with the insights gained.
