Information for students
Courses offered by the DLR Institute of Lightweight Structures - Partner universities and subject areas
The DLR Institute of Lightweight Structures is intensively involved in teaching. The institute works intensively with renowned universities in Lower Saxony, Bremen and beyond. Prof. Dr. Martin Wiedemann, Prof. Dr. Christian Hühne, Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Monner and other institute colleagues cooperate closely with the universities offering a practice-oriented and forward-looking range of courses in various engineering disciplines.
The courses are aimed at students doing Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes specialising in:
- Aerospace engineering
- Mechatronics
- General mechanical engineering
- Production and systems engineering
- Materials science
Please visit the websites of the respective universities for detailed information on the individual courses, events as well as the contact persons. You will find all relevant information about the course content, examination requirements and enrolment conditions there.
Through close cooperation with leading universities and specialist areas, the DLR Institute of Lightweight Systems optimally prepares students for the challenges of modern engineering. It promotes the development of innovative technologies for the future of aviation, mechatronics and lightweight construction.
