VITA - Virtual Therapy Arm
The VITA system is used for the rehabilitation and therapy of people with neurological and motor impairments with the help of virtual reality (VR). The VITA system is used, for example, in the treatment of phantom pain after an amputation or in mobilisation after a stroke. In the virtual VITA environment, impaired users can control a fully functional representation of their impaired limb(s) in virtual reality. Control and recognition of the intended movement is based on the user's own muscle signals and a modern machine learning system.
