"We develop the future - and you can watch us do it. A virtual 360-degree tour as a science communication tool" was the topic of a lecture by Lioba Suchenwirth at the Forum Science Communication. In the context of the symposium, the institute's representative for press and public relations presented Lessons-Learned on the digital tour as a science communication tool. Since July 2019, the 360-degree tour of the research laboratories has been providing a look behind the scenes of the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics.

The Forum Science Communication is the largest conference for science communication in the German-speaking world. The conference is organized annually by Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), the joint organization of German science for science communication. Due to the developments of the coronavirus pandemic, the Forum Science Communication took place this year from October 5 to 7, 2020 as a digital conference.
