Working Student (m/f/d) for the RAFCON Open Source Framework

In today’s robotics landscape, tasks for humanoids and autonomous mobile manipulators are growing increasingly complex, making system orchestration a challenge. RAFCO was developed to manage this complexity. It is a graphical tool that employs hierarchical state machines with concurrency, featuring robust debugging, an intuitive visual editor, and rapid prototyping. We need your support to further enhance RAFCON.

Your Tasks:

  • Enhance the visual editor by developing new features
  • Identify and fix bugs in the project.
  • Support community engagement.
  • Work closely with the robotic teams.

Your Profile:

  • Interest in robotics and open source is desirable;
  • Knowledge with Python is necessary
  • Knowledge with web-frameworks is desirable (Vue, Angular, React)
  • Good communication skills in English (German is an asset).
  • Team spirit is essential.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexible schedule (approx. 10-20 hours per week) tailored to your studies.
  • Remote work with regular institute visits is possible.
  • Only enrolled students are eligible.
