Automated, autonomous and connected applications are the drivers of a modern mobility system.

Technical developments, taking into account the current legal framework, are gathering pace. The first test licences for motor vehicles with autonomous driving functions have already been granted by the Federal Motor Transport Authority.

What role can and should state and federal test fields play in the future for the development and safeguarding of autonomous and connected applications on the way to nationwide regular operation? What design opportunities - and challenges - are there for the federal and state governments?

Answers to these questions will be provided at the final event of the KoTAM project on 6 June 2024 in Berlin.

Make a note of this date now!

The one-day event is the conclusion of the joint project of the states of Lower Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia and the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, which is driving forward the resolution of the Conference of Transport Ministers to coordinate test field activities for automated and connected mobility.

You can expect an exciting programme of presentations with project results and recommendations for action as well as plenty of time to exchange ideas and network.

The event is aimed at test field operators and promoters, project managers, politicians and administrators as well as federal, state and local authorities and businesses.

Participation in the event is free of charge, but places are limited.
