Bavarian aviation research and technology funding
Since 1997, the Free State of Bavaria has been promoting aviation research and technology with the aim of strengthening the regional value chain from research institutions to suppliers and system leaders for competition in the aviation market and acquiring additional market share.
There are currently no open calls for funding opportunities in the field of aviation in this programme. However, you are welcome to find out about the latest calls for funding below and contact our staff. We will then inform you as soon as new calls for funding for aeronautics research in Bavaria become available.
Previous calls for funding have focussed on the following areas:

Grants are awarded by the government of Upper Bavaria.
The Project Management Agency for Aviation Research is responsible for supporting funding projects applied for up to and including 2020.
