GARTEUR
GARTEUR brings together member states that implement national funding programmes and have their own research infrastructure.
The aim is to define and jointly carry out complementary research projects in addition to the regular informal exchange on national and European projects.
The principle of national responsibility for funding is applied, which balances the contribution and benefits for the member states.
The project organiser performs the following tasks in connection with GARTEUR:
- Support of the national delegate in the Council and German spokesperson in the Executive Committee
- Active participation in the Group of Responsables
- Coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Action Groups/Exploratory Groups, particularly at national level
- Preparation and organisation of meetings of the GARTEUR committees in Germany
- Management of the GARTEUR office
