SaiNSor

The SaiNSOR project is a technological "enabler" in which ten DLR institutes are jointly developing an interface unit and methods for the temporal-spatial referencing of multimodal sensor data with quality labelling as well as algorithms for data fusion and analysis. The main objective is the close integration of sensor technology and data processing with artificial intelligence (AI) methods.

This will allow sensor systems used at DLR to be combined more flexibly in future and multimodal reference data to be generated at a high quality level. This is an essential prerequisite for the successful use of neural networks for special applications related to image analysis.

SainSor Projekt
The "backbone" is the central work package with the aim of developing interface units for the integration of different sensors and for the modular processing of sensor data.

This will allow sensor systems used at DLR to be combined more flexibly with each other in future and multimodal reference data to be generated at a high level of quality. This is an essential prerequisite for the successful use of neural networks for special applications related to image analysis.
