School is over, you have so many options! An apprenticeship at DLR provides you with everything you need for your future career. A dedicated instructor will introduce you to the ins and outs of your field, so that you can quickly roll up your sleeves and work independently. DLR offers an ideal setting. The fascinating nature of a research institution can be felt in every corner of DLR. You will spend between three and three and a half years in this work environment as you are trained to become a professional in your field. Do you want to shorten your training or acquire an additional qualification? No problem – if you meet the requirements, we will promote and support you. And afterwards? We hire many of our trainees. They appreciate the good working atmosphere and the stability that a public institution provides.

Language
Please note: German is the language spoken at lectures in dual studies
You will learn the theory at one of our cooperating universities, and at DLR you will deepen your knowledge through practical work. You will be guided and supported by a personal mentor from one of DLR's research institutes. You will gain an insight into our research areas and learn about the typical requirements of a professional career – especially exciting at a research institution!
At the end, you will have your bachelor's degree!
The following degrees are available: Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts.
