The Institute of Communications and Navigation can now look back on a long history. Even in its early years, the Institute played a key role in space programs such as the HELIOS mission to the sun and the construction of the first European telecommunications satellite, Symphonie. Since then, it has been involved in numerous pioneering aerospace developments and projects.

Our History

The beginnings of the Institute of Communications and Navigation date back to 1964 - the early days of space travel in Germany. Since then, it has been involved in numerous pioneering aerospace developments and projects.

Our success is based on the knowledge, expertise and dedication of our highly trained and motivated employees. This is why our goals are developed in dialog and regularly adjusted.
