The department "Institute Project Management and Administration" is responsible for the main cross-sectional tasks and functions in the institute. These include project management, controlling, logistics, software technologies and IT infrastructure, quality management, personnel administration, public relations and security.

The department thus creates the framework conditions for the scientific and technical work in the institute, relieves the departments in administrative matters and streamlines the processes in the institute. It also promotes the third-party funding business by supporting the departments in the acquisition, implementation and marketing of large projects as well as the support of important customers.
