KoKoVI – Coordinated Cooperative Transport with Distributed Learning Intelligence
Climate protection and meeting the mobility needs for people and goods are the key social challenges of the 21st century. Road traffic will continue to be very important in the future. Therefore, ecological sustainability and traffic safety will have top priorities. To increase the efficiency of road traffic and offer new mobility solutions, KoKoVI will systematically exploit the new opportunities provided by automation, networking, and digitalization. The department Photogrammetry and Image Analysis contributes to this project by data acquisition with its 4k camera system and developing AI algorithms for the detection and tracking of moving traffic participants such as vehicles and pedestrians, as well as enhancing the localization of vehicles based on aerial images.
