The mobility of the future must be shaped today. With a multitude of trends and technologies coming to market or are currently in research, stakeholders (e.g., operators, authorities, municipalities) face the challenge of evaluating the viability of approaches for a sustainable mobility. In this project, tools for the future-oriented assessment of such solutions will be established.
One instrument, MF-PBA is developing together with transport research institutes, targets the need for independent parameters in the validation procedure of traffic simulation models. Furthermore, data on traffic infrastructure obtained from aerial imagery will be integrated into a digital twin to increase the level of detail and ensure up-to-date analyses.
