Continuous successful run(ning)
This year Munich Marathon celebrated its 30th anniversary and scientists from IMF were among the participants. They were part of the marathon race for companies, clubs or running groups which could divide up the original route among their team members.
Three IMF teams comprised of four runners each ran the entire stretch, whereby each runner took over distances of 6.8 km, 14.5 km, 10.8 km, or 10.1 km.
Some 23,000 runners braved the cool temperatures. The marathon is known for its route, which passes many Munich sightseeing highlights, especially in the last third of the stretch before it ends with a finish at the Munich Olympia Stadium.
