6DoF-Motion-Platform

The 6DoF-Motion-Platform makes it possible to simulate realistic maritime conditions, for example by simulating ship deck movements for flight tests. The simulator is a platform that can move in six degrees of freedom and can be controlled by a computer. The platform is mounted on a trailer, which can be used to simulate the horizontal movement of a ship, for example. Other project-specific applications are also possible.

The system is currently being used in the DLR project MaRPAS, for example.
