The TechLab at the Institute of System Dynamics and Control in Oberpfaffenhofen houses various test benches and the Systems Control and Innovation Lab (SCIL).
INDUSTRY PARTNERS FOR THE DIGITAL TWIN AND VIRTUAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
The SCIL - an innovation laboratory of the DLR Institute of System Dynamics and Control - works with partners from industry to analyse complex issues in the field of digital twins and virtual product development. It also supports companies in developing their own expertise in the field of simulation. The initial effort usually pays off quickly for the partners in terms of time and cost savings, as many aspects of the product life cycle - from planning and assembly to commissioning and ongoing operation - can be optimised virtually.
