Locations and arrival

Alongside the Cologne-Porz site, the DLR site in Oberpfaffenhofen is one of the largest research centres in Germany. Eight scientific institutes are located on the site not far from the Munich-Lindau A96 motorway. The centre currently employs around 1050 people. Among other things, the research centre focuses on participation in space missions, climate research, research and development for earth observation, the expansion of navigation systems and the further development of robot technology.
