A fundamental factor in the Institute's performance and competitiveness is the quality of its research results, products and services. It sets itself the highest standards in terms of research, management and infrastructure.
The institute promotes the expertise and motivation of its employees and improves quality to the satisfaction of its customers and partners by establishing and introducing a quality management system (QMS) in which all employees are actively involved. The institute regularly evaluates the objectives and appropriateness, performance and documentation of the management system and continuously improves its effectiveness.
The DLR Institute of Test and Simulation for Gas Turbines has been certified in accordance with the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 since 2023.
This underlines the institute's claim to generate research results at the highest quality level. In this way, we demonstrate to our customers and research partners the data quality and effectiveness of our organisation.
