                      Project

                      Prometheus

The Prometheus® programme of the European Space Agency (ESA) aims to develop a demonstrator for a reusable 100 tons thrust class engine for future generations of reusable and environmentally friendly European launcher.

                      Project

                      Future LAMpoldshausen Exploitation FLAME

With the FLAME project, DLR is developing the basis for the comprehensive modernization and digitalization of engine test benches as part of an ESA programme initiated by the German Space Agency at DLR.

                      Project

Vinci Assembly, Integration and Test AIT

The production, integration and testing of ArianeGroup's Vinci upper stage engine is to be transferred from ArianeGroup Vernon to ArianeGroup in Lampoldshausen and the engines will then be tested on the P4.1 high-altitude simulation test stand at DLR in Lampoldshausen and qualified for flight on Ariane 6.

                      Project

                      ETID

The ETID engine model is to be used for next-generation heavy-lift rockets and is a demonstrator for a liquid oxygen / methane upper stage engine with 100 kilonewtons of thrust.
