The DLR Institute of Solar Research evaluates the technical and economic aspects of systems that provide both heat and electricity and supports them from the development phase through to market launch.

In addition to experimental testing, modelling and simulation of solar systems provide important insights into heat and material balances, their time-dependent behaviour and ultimately the expected annual yield. The Institute has a large number of its own simulation models and has also developed commercial tools. As part of our research services, we offer technical simulation studies and profitability analyses. In many cases it is also possible to have direct access to our software. If you are interested in a software solution, please contact us. We will be happy to discuss how we can best assist you with your individual requirements.
