The Institute of Solar Research significantly promotes the development of technologies in the fields of renewable energies, energy efficiency and concentrating solar technologies in Europe. It sees itself as a mediator between basic research and practical application. Industrial companies benefit from the comprehensive expertise of the Institute and its employees in the energy sector. We also support industrial companies and research institutions in realising their own projects in our test facilities.
