A 30-member delegation of representatives from politics, business and science from the state of Baden-Württemberg will accompany Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg to Chile and Brazil between 2 and 8 February 2023. The delegation's trip will focus on the topics of "green hydrogen", "water and wastewater technologies" and "raw materials". The aim of the trip is to identify new joint cooperation projects with local partners and deepen existing contacts.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT is represented with the core competencies "Chemical Processes" and "Energy and Drives" and supports the topics "Stationary Energy Storage", "Green Hydrogen" and "Sustainability" with technical expertise.
The Institute of Space Propulsion of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) provides its know-how from the Applied Hydrogen Technologies department for the planning and operation of hydrogen-carrying systems, the safe handling of hydrogen and sector coupling.
