Multiple System

Multiple System
Our solar system represents a particular order in the arrangement of planets: rocky planets (e. g. Mars) are close to the Sun, whereas gas planets (e. g. Jupiter) orbit far out. In extrasolar planetary systems, many things seem to be different: there are planetary systems with seven rocky planets or systems in which planets of different densitites are mixed up.
