In order to be able to measure how the flow on the wings changes during different flight manoeuvres and how much the wings deform in flight, the researchers have covered the left wing of the ISTAR with a dotted foil. Cameras observe the changes. The video shows the camera view from inside the aircraft. The research flights are taking place as part of the HighFly project.
