The flights with the DLR research aircraft ISTAR (In-Flight Systems and Technologies Airborne Research) focus on flight mechanical and flight dynamic properties. The test pilots fly precisely defined manoeuvres with the ISTAR. The flights take place within the framework of the HighFly project.
