International cooperations

The European Union's 7th Research Framework Program has supported several important aspects of multidisciplinary collaboration in the FAST20XX, CHATT, HIKARI and HYPMOCES projects. As part of the EU's Horizon 2020 program, the FALCon project dealt with the advanced retrieval method "In-Air-Capturing" to be used by the reusable booster stage.

The way in which such hypersonic point-to-point transports, such as the SpaceLiner, are to be integrated into the future controlled airspace was investigated in the SESAR project ECHO.
