EDAN robot
EDAN is a robotic research platform for people with severe motor impairments. It consists of a wheelchair with a sensitive lightweight robotic arm and a hand. EDAN can be controlled not only by means of a joystick, but also via muscle sensors that are measured directly on the surface of the skin using electromyography (EMG) and then processed.
