When designing and developing new types of vehicle body structures, different lightweight construction strategies are methodically applied and systematically combined in order to develop the optimised structure for the respective application.
In particular, conventional and innovative flux-adapted lightweight car body designs are conceived, designed, laid out and optimised. The work also includes the design of the necessary assembly and production technologies as well as the design of the assembly process.
