STAB
The Strömungsmechanische Arbeitsgemeinschaft - STAB in the German Society for Aeronautics and Astronautics Lilienthal-Oberth e. V. aims to honour outstanding achievements in the field of fluid mechanics every two years by awarding the STAB Prize, thereby also promoting research and development in this field.
The STAB-Prize is endowed with 5,000 euros and will be presented to the winner at the STAB Symposium in Regensburg in November 2024.
The STAB-Prize can be awarded to scientists and development engineers from Germany. New and pioneering research and development results and contributions to their implementation are honoured, not the life's work of a scientist. Experimental, numerical and theoretical work and its realisation in technical applications are eligible for the award. Individuals or working groups can apply. Applications should be sent in writing to the STAB office (stab[at]DLR.de).
