Keele University (UK) and DLR: Memorandum of Understanding
The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Keele University in the United Kingdom.
Our institute has been in close cooperation with the University through the visiting senior lectureship of our colleague Prof. Ameya Rege.
The cooperation has now been strengthened by an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) project at the University, where the German Aerospace Center is an associated partner.
To intensify our cooperation, the DLR has now signed a MOU.
Prof. Dr. Meike Jipp, Divisional Board Member for Energy and Transport of the DLR, and Prof. Guillermo Requena, vice-director of the Institute of Materials Research, signed the MoU on behalf of DLR and Prof. Mark Ormerod, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost, signed on behalf of the Keele University. This MoU will see several joint projects and academic exchange in the future towards a common goal of rapid materials development and digitalisation.
We look forward to this exciting partnership!
