Latent-heat thermal storage system
The prototype of the latent-heat thermal storage system is encased in microporous insulating material (grey box) to prevent heat loss. On the test stand, multiple sensors measure the temperature, pressure and volume of the air supply (blue pipe) and the heating air flow.
