D328® UpLift during the emissions measurements at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport
A measuring probe was permanently installed at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport for the emission measurements. While the pilot runs through the various thrust stages of the LTO cycle (Landing and Take-Off Cycle) with the aircraft on the ground, the probe takes exhaust gas samples and sends them to the mobile laboratory of the DLR Institute of Combustion Technology, which is located at a safe distance from the aircraft.
