The D328® UpLift is used as a 'flying testbed' for new fuels and innovative aviation technologies of the future, such as synthetic fuels or hydrogen. The current flights are being carried out as test flights, as the use of 100 percent synthetic aromatics-free fuels is not yet fully certified.
