SHERP vehicle in the field
The extremely robust and all-terrain SHERP vehicle masters terrain that conventional vehicles cannot. The United Nations World Food Programme uses such vehicles with drivers for aid deliveries in South Sudan. Here, the SHERP moves through the test site in Norheim am Main under remote control – the technologies are being developed by the DLR AHEAD project together with the WFP and other partners.
