Walther Pelzer, DLR Executive Board Member and Director General of the German Space Agency at DLR, and Stefan Schlechtriem opened the 11th Industrial Days at DLR in Lampoldshausen
Approximately 90 renowned representatives from the European space industry, space agencies and the scientific community attended the two-day conference. The current focus on space transport shows that maintaining Europe's strategically independent access to space and ensuring the competitiveness of European launchers is a high priority.

Video: Welcome speech to the 11th Industrial Days
In a welcome video, Anna Christmann, member of the Bundestag and Federal Government Coordinator of German Aerospace Policy, spoke about the importance of the commercialisation and competitiveness of the European launcher market, highlighting the first launch of the Ariane 6 launcher as an important milestone to be achieved in the coming months.

Panel discussion at the 11th Industrial Days
