The Matroshka AstroRad Radiation Experiment (MARE) will fly to the Moon on NASA's Artemis I mission. The experiment will investigate radiation exposure throughout the entire flight to Earth’s natural satellite using two identical ‘phantoms’. Several vibration tests were carried out before the start of the mission, including this second one which was carried out with the engineering qualification models (EQM) Helga and Zohar at the DLR Institute of Space Systems in Bremen. This test simulated the acceleration values to which the two mannequins will be exposed during the launch of Artemis I.
