Offshore wind farms in the EU have an installed capacity of 15.2 gigawatts, Chinese plants 14.1 gigawatts and United Kingdom plants 10.7 gigawatts. Together, this corresponds to approximately 98.5 percent of the global offshore wind power installed capacity of 40.6 gigawatts (as of mid-2021).
