CALLISTO is a reusable demonstrator for a vertical take-off and landing (VTVL) rocket stage. CALLISTO is jointly developed, built and tested by DLR, JAXA, and CNES. The landing system will be able to absorb the remaining kinetic energy, allowing CALLISTO to perform a safe and stable landing.
