The H2ORIZON research facility for the renewable production of hydrogen is nearing completion at the DLR site in Lampoldshausen. 100 percent of the electricity required for this is generated from renewable resources. The renewable hydrogen is used to supply DLR’s Lampoldshausen site with heat and electricity, and as a rocket fuel in its test stands. It also feeds into hydrogen mobility and industrial applications.
