Visiting the ICD rig
The Inter Compressor Duct, or ICD for short, is the name for the transition channel between the low- and high-pressure compressors. The aim of the project is to better tailor the low-pressure compressor, ICD and high-pressure compressor to each other, in order to identify and exploit for new engines that save even more fuel.
