DLR on site
The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is working together with the International Search and Rescue organisation (I.S.A.R.) on new developments and applications in the field of crisis and disaster management. To this end, both parties signed a cooperation agreement at the end of 2016. Three employees from the DLR Institute of Optical Sensor Systems participated in the catastrophe exercise in Switzerland: (from left to right) Thomas Kraft, Ralf Berger, Jörg Brauchle.
