Messor Crater on Ceres
Measuring 40 kilometres in diameter, the interior of the Messor Crater shows traces of other, later impacts. Other impact craters are also located in its immediate vicinity. Messor is therefore an older crater. This image was acquired by the Framing Camera system on board the US Dawn orbiter on 19 December 2015 from an altitude of 385 kilometres.
