Preparing for a human physiology experiment during a parabolic flight. Stefan Schneider from the German Sport University Cologne (Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln) applies contact gel to the scalp of a subject so that the electrodes in the Electroencephalography (EEG) cap can record their brainwaves. The experiment being tested here is scheduled to be carried out on the International Space Station (ISS) from 2016.
