Activity on 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko
This image from the OSIRIS (Optical, Spectroscopic, and Infrared Remote Imaging System) camera, acquired on 28 August 2014, shows a gas-emitting depression on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. This can be seen in the right-hand image, which has enhanced contrast. The image was acquired from a distance of 60 kilometres and has a resolution of one metre per pixel.
