Earth through the clouds
This cloudless view of Earth was obtained with 60 individual images taken by the Meteosat-5 satellite taken over a period of two months. The cloudless view of seas and the continents are overlaid on an elevation model. The data in the image comes from Meteosat-5, and the image was processed at the German Remote Sensing Data Center (Deutschen Fernerkundungsdatenzentrum; DFD).
