Location
Sankt Augustin is located in the Rhein-Sieg district and is only 20 kilometres from the DLR headquarters in Cologne. The Institute for AI Security is housed in the former headquarters of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in the city centre and is easily accessible by public transport or car.
Arrival by car from motorway
Close to "Cologne/Bonn Airport", good connections via the A3 and A59 motorways. There are several visitor parking spaces available in front of the main entrance to the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Arrival by train
Coming from Bonn (south): "Bonn HBF", main station, Underground line (U-Bahn) 66 in the direction of Siegburg. Exit at "Sankt Augustin Zentrum / Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg". Journey time approx. 20 minutes. Via a pedestrian bridge in the direction of Marktplatz, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation can be reached directly.
Coming from Siegburg (north): Exit at the "Siegburg" stop (lower level of the "ICE station Siegburg/Bonn"), then take the underground line 66 in the direction of Bonn. Exit at "Sankt Augustin Zentrum / Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg". Journey time approx. 5 minutes. Via a pedestrian bridge in the direction of Marktplatz, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation can be reached directly.
Arrival by plane
Nearest airport "Cologne/Bonn". At the airport station, take the tram S19 in the direction of Au (Sieg) / Hennef (Sieg) to "Siegburg/Bonn ICE station".
Alternatively, from "Frankfurt Airport", take the ICE to "Siegburg/Bonn ICE station". Then continue by train from Siegburg.
