Carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) is used as a material to manufacture next-generation commercial aircraft, among other things - lighter in weight, more economical in terms of fuel consumption and more environmentally friendly. CFRP is also on the rise in the automotive industry and in the manufacture of rotor blades for wind turbines. The increasing demand requires economical production methods of the highest quality. The ZLP conducts research on an industrial scale in order to be able to react individually and flexibly to the special requirements of the respective industry.
